Bob Dylan Center Celebrates 1 Year in Tulsa

TULSA, OK- One year ago,  the Bob Dylan Center opened its doors to the public for the first time.

The May 2022 opening kicked off with a series of special events held in the Tulsa Arts District.

The center was designed by Architecture firm Olson Kundig in partnership with local firm Lilly Architects.

The Center holds the Bob Dylan Archive which includes more than 100,000 artifacts from Dylan’s life.

In 2016 The George Kaiser Family Foundation purchased the archives to preserve Dylan’s legacy much like the foundation had done previously with the Woody Guthrie Archive.
